A game of materials, words, textures… The book ------ multiple and renewed.
As a child, I made my own Notebooks, my secret books;
later, the studies of librarian, researcher and archivist
allowed me to approach ancient books, manuscripts, and
monastic parchments. The apprenticeships of different
techniques seemingly unrelated to books have enriched
my creations.
From the most unrefined to the most precious materials,
the created book/object is charged with ancient memories,
traces, and echoes.
It becomes resurgence, book of spells, a singular book.
