Denis Tricot Poussy Paris Cathie O'Neill André Lamourère Christophe Beyler Michèle Lafont Gabriel Nogué Bertrand Burlot Peter Weir Denis Tricot Dominique Brun Sandra Rosado Sculptor, improviser, adept of "mixed media", I have always wanted my sculpture to be a performance element. Since 94 I have been improvising in theatrical environments with long arcs of wood, simultaneously creating dynamic constructions with dancers, musicians, and actors. Since 96 I have assembled artists from different disciplines in " Tricot et Cie ", and I present transversal improvisation performances in France and Europe. I am currently developing notions of "artistic street action" and "improvised dramatic itinerary".     In parallel, I offer a variety of "invasive ephemeral sculptures" based on poplar wood board, veritable elemental sign of writing for architecture and the public environment. I invest a number of sites in France and Europe as far as the Ukraine. Confronting air and weather, attentive to gesture and person, I inscribe my sculpture in a number of channels :   Integration in performance art using improvisation and mixed media as supports. Dialogue with architecture, playing with gravity and verticality using curves and the contours of wood grain. Invasion of public spaces with the obsession of vivacity, the monumental and the ephemeral.   If, in 2002, I consecrated myself principally to the research of my own vocabulary with SoloSculpture, this year I have returned to the encounter, opening out to other practices with two transversal duos and a trio linking improvisation and exposition. And always, imagined experiences for new sites to invest, the attraction of discovery and voyage.
